Havre basketball started their away weekend on Friday night facing the Hardin Bulldogs.
In the opener, the Lady Ponies fell behind early, and tried to scramble back, but Hardin proved to be a tough opponent. The Bulldogs held on for a 57-54 victory.
The Blue Pony boys followed up with a very strong showing against their host, upending the Bulldogs 96-59.
Havre continued their road trip on Saturday, traveling to Miles City to face the Custer County Cowboys.
The boys started things off, and the Blue Ponies took in an 88-57 win.
In the ladies’ follow up, despite trailing after the first, the Blue Ponies managed to scramble back to defeat the Cowgirls 55-49.
After sweeping the weekend, Havre will be back on the road next Saturday, with a meeting with Dawson County. The girls will kick things off at 4p, and the boys will hit the court around 5:30.
