ROCKY BOY, Mont. (NMB) – The Chippewa Cree Tribe has provided public notice that the filing period for candidates for their Business Committee will be from 8 AM on September 7th to 4 PM on September 11th.
The position of Chairman, as well as four other positions on the Committee, will be up for Election.
To be eligible for the Committee, candidates must be at least 25-years-old and a member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe. They must have resided on the Reservation for at least two years immediately prior to the General Election.
Candidate filings must be turned into the Chippewa Cree Tribal Office. The filing fee for Committee Chairman is $150, while the filing fee for Committee Member is $100.
