First Peoples Buffalo Jump to hold sunset hike March 14th.

(FWP) First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park is inviting the public this month to enjoy the first full moon of spring with a sunset hike on Friday, March 14th.

The full moon will rise around 8:15 p.m. that evening after the sun sets at 7:29 pm., and the visitor center gate will be open from 5-9 p.m. for hikers to come out and enjoy the park’s three-mile trail.

The two-hour hike begins at 7 p.m. at the visitor center, and park ranger Andy Keller will lead the guided hike designed to help visitors learn about the history of the park.
