Former Employee Sues Rocky Boy Health Clinic for Harassment

BOX ELDER, Mont. (NMB) – A former employee of the Rocky Boy Health Clinic filed a lawsuit last Thursday alleging he was harassed by the CEO of the health clinic. Ronald J. Walker has filed his discrimination suit against Jessica Windy Boy, the Rocky Boy Health Clinic, and the Chippewa Cree Tribe.

Walker, who is representing himself, claims that the harassment happened in early February, about two months after he was hired as a Project Coordinator and Data Manager for the Health Clinic. He is suing for a total of $140,000 for lost wages, punitive damages and exemplary damages. Walker says he was forced resign as Project Coordinator for the Zero-Suicide grant program due to Windy Boy’s retaliation, bullying, intimidation and harassment against him.

Walker has also filed a charge with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

The Rocky Boy Health Clinic declined to comment on the situation.
