HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The U.S. Border Patrol has announced that Patrol Agent in Charge (PAIC) Perla McGoffin has retired after 20 years of federal service.
McGoffin, who retired Friday, was the first female Patrol Agent in Charge of the Havre Station, and was responsible for the management and administration of personnel as well as enforcement operations.
McGoffin entered on duty with U.S. Border Patrol in July 2000 at the Naco Station, Tucson Sector, Arizona. She has done tours of duty in El Paso, Texas; Lordsburg, New Mexico; and Washington, D.C. She had worked at the Havre Sector since November 2015.
McGoffin plans to retire in the Salt Lake City, Utah area to be closer to her family.
