Havre Implements Non-Essential Water Restrictions Starting June 4

HAVRE, Mont. — The City of Havre announced Thursday that non-essential water conservation measures will take effect starting Wednesday, June 4.

Residents are asked to irrigate lawns no more than three times per week, only between 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. They are also urged to stop washing vehicles, hard surfaces, and structures.

City officials define non-essential water use as lawn irrigation, filling pools, and washing driveways. Essential uses, including drinking water, sanitation, and fire suppression, are not affected.
