Havre Public Works to begin Highland Park project in early April.

(Havre) The Havre Public Works Department says that the replacement of water mains in Highland Park is set to begin soon amid favorable weather conditions, with a tentative start date of Monday, April 7th.

The project will begin doing prep work before the project begins, which Public Works Director Trevor Mork says will have a large impact on affected areas.

“If you have children living in these work areas, please take the time to have these discussions on the importance of keeping safe distances away from equipment, these constructions areas, for their safety.’

Mork says that those who navigate the area regularly, either for school or work, should be cognizant of closures and plan ahead to allow themselves more time to get to their destination.

The length of the project from start to finish was estimated by Mork to last around seven months.
