GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – A missing hiker was found on August 17th in the Little Belt Mountains.
Gloria Albright was found by U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement Officer Shawn Tripp last week thanks to an extensive search effort that included many agencies, numerous dogs, and a helicopter.
Albright had been missing since August 13th when she became disoriented. She was found only a few miles from where she went missing.
Wheatland County Sheriff Everett Misner says that Albright made a wrong turn and fell and injured her knee. She survived with little food or water and was unable to walk at times.
