
HARLEM, Mont. (NMB) – Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Hunter education course dates have been set for Harlem and Box Elder.
The class in Harlem will be on August 23rd at 5 PM at the ECNA Church.
The class in Box Elder will be on September 7th at 6 PM at Stone Child College.
These in-person, instructor-led classes are free of charge and available to anyone 10 and older.
For youth to be eligible to hunt and be fully certified during the 2021 season, they must be 12-years-old by January 16th, 2022. Students aged 10 and 11 can take a course and hunt as an apprentice, but will not be fully certified until the year they turn 12.
Students must pre-register for the class by visiting fwp.mt.gov/education/hunter-education.
