The MSU-N wrestling team sent six participants to North Dakota to compete in the Tyler Plummer Classic on Saturday. Here are some notable results.
At 165 pounds, Cael White took home 5th place. At 184 pounds, Rylin Burns finished on top, placing first. Sixth place went to Lights’ wrestler. AJ Harris.
The wrestling team will be facing three teams next week on the road.

157 -Cale Ibach lost his first match to Ethan Fleck by a major decision 13-5. He goes to win his second match by a fall 4:04. Ibach lost out to C. Carroll by a fall 3:29.
157- 2nd Place–Ryan Graves won his first match against K Tomac by a fall 1:38. He beats Clay Radenz by a decision 9-6 to head into the finals. He falls in the championship around against B. Greenley by a major decision 13-4.
165- 5th Place-Cael White won hist first match against Kaden Broer by a fall 2:36. He lost to L. Baker by a tech fall 19-4. White falls to J. Mushinsky by a decision 12-5 to go for fifth or sixth place. He dominated his next round to take fifth place against B. Shaw by a tech fall 16-1.
165-Ameron Bretz lost to Bradley Shaw by a fall 1:10. He falls out in his next round to J Oliver by a tech fall 18-3.
184-1st Place– Rylin Burns dominated his first match by a fall 4”30. He continues that momentum to take down J. Simons by a fall 4:02. He takes first place as he beats M. Fey by a close decision 6-4.
285- 6th Place– AJ Harris lost his first round to T Hellman by a fall 1:20. He beats A. Jackson by a fall 5:40. He continues his streak, as he beats M Lessard by a fall 4:10. He falls to A Mitchell by a fall 2:02 to compete for fifth and sixth place. He lost his last match to T Hellman by a fall 1:01 to take sixth place.
