(Havre) The Montana Farmers Union is hosting their annual Women’s Confrences on February 2nd through the 4th in Miles City, and Fairmont Hotsprings from February 9th to the 11th.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with Rachel Prevost, Membership Services and Government Affairs Director at Montana Farmers Union, to ask how women can participate in programs closer to home.
“Actually, these events also stemmed our more localized [programs], we call them ‘Ladies Who Ag’ programming. So my ambassador team, they implement localized women in ag programming throughout the spring and summer.”, she said. “So we do that in a regionally based area with our ambassador team, we do have the state covered, so people can be looking out for more localized Ladies Who Ag programming from farmers union in their community.
