HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – At a ceremony Friday morning, the Montana Law Enforcement Academy graduated 55 new officers who will serve at various agencies across the state. A press release says the Academy is operated by the Montana Department of Justice and provides basic and advanced training for state, county, city and tribal law enforcement officers throughout the state.
Some graduates assigned to our local areas include Jace Johnson with Fort Belknap Law Enforcement, Stephen Horn with the Cascade County Sheriff’s Office, Joseph Wirtz with the Lewistown Police Department, Travern Smith with the Toole County Sheriff’s Office, and Elijah Katchur with the Cut Bank Police Department. Anthony Formell and Christopher Brown were both assigned to the Great Falls Police Department.
