ZURICH, Mont. (NMB) – At about 5 PM Monday night, an empty BNSF grain train reported striking the trailer of a semi-truck near Zurich.
BNSF Public Affairs Regional Director Ross Lane says there were no injuries to the crew and no injuries to the driver of the semi-truck. The incident occurred at a crossing equipped with crossbucks. Some minor track damaged was sustained in the incident and BNSF crews were mobilized to make the necessary repairs and inspections before resume full railroad operations.
