HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Montana State University-Northern has announced a new set of guidelines and recommendations due to COVID-19.
Chancellor Greg Kegel says that campus remains open, but gatherings of over 20 people, outside of course labs, will either be canceled or postponed through April 12.
Northern is starting the process of transitioning as many classes as possible to online and WebEx. Hands on labs and clinical will continue as usual. Students will be notified via email and Brightspace as classes transition online.
Kegel also announced a travel restriction for all campus-sponsored travel outside of Montana through the end of the semester.
He adds that the situation is being monitored daily and any updates can be found on the university website at http://www.msun.edu/.
