(Bozeman) -The Statewide Science Olympiad returns to Bozeman in the Spring of 2026. Late afternoon on Thursday, the Science Olympiad will be hosting a Zoom meeting about the 2026 event. Suzi Taylor, Director of the Science Math Resource Center in the Department of Education at Montana State University in Bozeman tells us more about the meeting.
“Every year we have a mix of teams who’ve been doing it forever. We have coaches who’ve coached for decades, literally. But then we always have some brand-new teams which is really fun for us to help then out. On October 2nd, we’ll be doing an on-line presentation, it starts at 4:15pm and we’ll kind of just go over all the nuts and bolts of Science Olympiad. What is it, what’s it like to come to the tournament, how can you prepare your team.”
The Science Olympiad is the oldest STEM competition in the state. It has been held at Montana State University in Bozeman for over 40 years.
