HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – MSU-Northern is celebrating a new endowment supporting agriculture students from donors who know the department well.
Retired professors William Danley and Thomas Welch have collaborated to fund a $10,000 endowment and are encouraging others to contribute to it.
The Danley-Welch Agriculture Endowment will support a new scholarship specifically for agriculture students, a discipline in which Danley and Welch have 84 combined years of teaching experience in.
Danley and Welch also both served as advisors to the Professional Agricultural Students Club since its inception in 1982.
