(Mammoth Hot springs) – Beginning Tuesday August 1st people can begin to apply for the 2023-2024 winter lottery permits to snowmobile in Yellowstone National Park without a commercial guide.
This Years lottery will be open on www.recreation.gov from August 1st to August 31st where successful applicants will be notified in early September. Unclaimed or canceled permits will be made available on a first come first served basis beginning on October 1st.
Trips can be for a maximum of 3 days with a group of up to five snowmobilers.
