MSU-Northern Rodeo is Improving with One Rodeo Remaining

Havre, MT – The Montana State University-Northern Rodeo program has competed at Northwestern, Dawson and Montana Western for three of their four fall rodeos in a five week span.

Head coach of Lights and Skylights rodeo says the team struggled to start the year but are improving and overcoming adversity ahead of the final rodeo next week.

“What I’ve liked the most so far about the season so far is the resiliency of the kids. The kids have had a tough draw or a horse got hurt or they got injured but nobody wanted to role over and quit or feel sorry for themselves. They were just going to get better and work on it. This young group is real resilient and I like that and it was promising for me to see.”

The program is on their bye week and will head to Dickinson State University on Friday and Saturday on October 9, and 10, for their final Rodeo before the winter break.
