The Blaine County Fair had its 2024 soft launch on Saturday with the kids rodeo. Taking place at the Blaine County Fairgrounds over a 5.5-hour span, 90 contestants who ranged from age four to 19 had friendly competition in 12 different rodeo skillsets: arena race, steer riding, chute dogging, goat untying, goat tying, sheep riding, breakaway, flag race, barrel racing, pole bending, calf tying, and team roping.
4-H events have already started for the Blaine County Fair, but the festivities officially kick off its grandstand events on Thursday with the PRCA Bear Paw Rodeo Roundup and concluding with the “Small Town Beat Down” demolition derby on Saturday.
