2024 CNFR Results – Round 2

The second day of the College National Finals Rodeo concluded on Monday in a seven-hour slack out of Casper, WY. MSU-Northern sophomore rodeo competitor Kenda Statham made her CNFR debut in the goat tying competition, where she did not record a score in the first go. Senior Mikenna Schauer was also in the first go of goat tying and was able to complete it in 8.1 seconds.

Junior Georgia Orahood got on the board, scoring 2.6 seconds to be in a group of riders with that same mark after day two. After scoring a 69 in the saddle bronc riding round one, senior Garrett Cunningham had a second go and finished with 64.5.

Tuesday’s festivities will also include a slack that begins at 7am and then 12 hours later will be the first of five performances for the Lights and Skylights rodeo teams. Stay tuned to New Media Broadcasters for results from the College National Finals Rodeo.
