The 2025 Hi-Line Invitational basketball tournament (H.I.T) is scheduled to be played this weekend at MSU-Northern’s Amory Gym. Stacked talent from across the Treasure State will have the chance to compete in inter-class showdowns throughout the duration. Four boys’ teams and four girls’ teams will go head-to-head with championship play taking place on Saturday.
Rosters for the festivities were released on Tuesday afternoon and there will be a lot of local flavor gracing the court. Havre will have six of its athletes for the respective Class ‘A’ teams: Tre Gary and Matt Huse for the boys along with Tierra Parker, Amaya Jarvis, Ari Gary, and Ela Harbor for the girls. Tommy Brown will coach the Class ‘A’ boys once again, having won the tournament last year in the same position.
Eva Yeadon from Big Sandy will be playing on her future court as she is committed to play for the Skylights this fall. She will be joined on the Class ‘C’ girls team by Saco-Whitewater-Hinsdale’s Shelbi LaBrie and BriElla Becker from Denton-Geyser-Stanford-Geraldine.
Malta has good representation for this year’s H.I.T as Dawson Hammond along with Bohdi Brenden will suit up for the Class ‘B’ boys, while Neva Jacobson and Denvyr Tuss will go for the Class ‘B’ girls. Class ‘B’ boys will also feature Glasgow’s Cade Hudyma.
There will be at least one member of a state title team on each roster except for the Class ‘C’ boys, where Box Elder will send its core to Denver this weekend for a different competition.
