HPS Education Foundation Raising Money with Blue Pony License Plates

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation has Blue Pony license plates available to Montana residents to help them raise money for their organization. Executive Director of the Foundation, Cheryl Morse says the money they raise will help them to provide scholarships and grants to the area.

“For about a year and a half now, we have sponsored a Blue Pony license plate. It is a fundraiser, an ongoing fundraiser for the Foundation. For every license plate that is purchased or renewed, the Foundation gets $20. And, again, that goes to our goals of scholarships, small grants and special projects.”

Morse says that any Montana resident can purchase a Blue Pony license plate and help raise money for their Foundation.

“It’s a really pretty plate with a Blue Pony on it, and then in the background is Saddle Butte with the ‘H’ on it. And, personally, I have one on my car and it actually helps me find my car in the parking lot once in a while. Anybody in Montana, actually, can purchase one. They don’t have to be from Havre or Hill County.”

The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation provides scholarships to students, as well as raising money for grants and local special projects.
