9C girl’s Tournament came to an end on Saturday at the Blue Pony Corral. There were four games, with the Loser-Out consolation Semi Final games played in the morning, and Fort Benton winning over Hays-LodgePole and advancing as the No. 3 team from the 9c.
In the Championship game, Chinook led by ten at the half but Box Elder overcame thanks to senior Kyla Momberg and her 22 points. Box Elder wins their first girl’s 9c tournament title since 2017. They advance as the No. 1 seed, Chinook is the No. 2.
For the boys, CJI is seed No. 1, Big Sandy No. 2, and Chinook No. 3
