
Thursday afternoon the reigning State Class A Champions Havre Blue Pony girls battled against the Browning Lady Indians in a semi-final matchup. Browning got the tip but was slow in scoring with Havre dominating at the first half with a 31 to 21 score.
In the end of the third frame the Ponies led by 20 points and never looked back. By the fourth quarter scoring turned into a standstill for both teams while Browning struggled to close the lead. By the buzzer Havre secured their place in the semi-final game with a final score over Browning, 66 to 37 and will be playing at 8PM against either Beaverhead Co or Butte Central while the Browning Lady Indians will play noon on Friday against either Hardin or Billings Central.
