HAVRE (NMB) On Thursday September 8th the Hill County commission met for weekly business meeting to discuss a contract bid for levee and well inspection and repairs.
The bid was with independent contractor, Jacobson Drilling for $11,655, minus 1% withholding gross receipt tax. This was the lower of two bids submitted.
This would be to complete work on well bailing and inspection of up to 43 levee relief wells on the right bank of the Milk River Levee, between September 12th through November 18th of 2022. The bid was approved.
Also, an award of $23,100 was approved for Walker River Construction to repair the piezometer for the Beaver Creek Dam. Walker River Construction submitted the only timely bid.
