Chinook opens up the 2023 portion of their basketball season to CJI on January 3rd.
The girls are 4-0 and have been getting great play from Hallie Neibauer and Bree Swanson.
Head Coach Mike Jones was asked about what makes those two so special.
“They’re just both great athletes. It makes it easy when they are that good of athletes. They’re good at finding rebounds and crashing boards, they’re good at getting the ball back up after a shot and both of them have put a lot of work into their shot. Some of our girls have tried to create and then kick to those two and they can get buckets anywhere on the floor. It’s nice that they’re pretty versatile.” – Jones
