58 Tons of Dirt and Debris Collected from City Street Sweeping

(Havre) – The City of Havre has been engaged in street sweeping activities since the beginning of May. Public works director Trevor Mork told New Media Broadcasters about the results of street sweeping thus far.

“Since we did the more aggressive sweeping with the schedule starting the beginning of May, we have approximately collected more that 58 tons of soil and debris from the streets. What that has resulted in is a better way for us to maintain our storm water health system.”

Street Sweeping activities by the City of Havre will continue through the summer. You can find the street sweeping schedule on the City of Havre website.
