(NMB) The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation has a new Director. Krystal Steinmetz began her new role on July 1st. Steinmetz is excited to be the New Director and says that her background in non-profit fundraising and grant management as well as media and public relations and marketing will serve her well as the new director.
“I do have a strong media and marketing background, and this allows me to continue to work with the media which is exciting, and then my non-profit experience too, I think helps. Knowing how to get a project kind of from planning to implementation and kind of knowing the right people and resources to work with.”-Steinmetz
Steinmetz was on the board of the Havre Public Schools Education Foundation for a couple of years and is looking forward to continuing to work on the projects that the board feels are important.
“This Executive Director opening actually just allows me to continue to further the work that we’ve been doing, providing partnerships and resources to Havre Public Schools. We’re out there kind of helping bring the school’s projects and ideas to life. I’m excited to see where we go in the future.”-Steinmetz
In her new role As Executive Director of HPSEF, Steinmetz will coordinate and oversee all activities including operations, fundraising, events, scholarships, grants, communications, and volunteer and board coordination.
