HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Saturday morning, Havre Police received numerous calls about smashed mailboxes in the area.
Havre Police Chief Gabe Matosich says they are aware of eight damaged mailboxes that appear to have been hit with a blunt object from a vehicle and likely happened Friday night or early Saturday morning. Hill County Undersheriff Stan Martin says one mailbox in the county was also damaged.
Matosich says that they are investigating these incidents. He encourages people with damaged mailboxes or information about the vandalism to call his office. People with information can call Crimestoppers anonymously at 265-4444.
