Tiber Water Treatment Plant Plans for Future Segments

TIBER, Mont. (NMB) – With the completion of the design of the Core System Water Treatment Plant near Tiber Reservoir and plans to proceed with bidding and construction this year, the North Central Montana Regional Water Authority has initiated preliminary and final design activities, topographic survey, and easement acquisition for several segments on the eastern side of the system.

Segment E1-B is the Tiber County Water District Pump Station. The first segment brought interim water service to the area and this pump station will allow for long-term regional water service.

Segments E3, E4, and E5 will bring water to Hill CWD, Loma CWD and the town of Big Sandy.

Segment E6-B is the completion of the preliminary design and easement research activities which will bring over 6 million gallons of water to the Havre area per day.
