
HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The occupant of a commercial water truck died late Monday morning when his semi-trailer crashed east of Havre, according to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Kurt Miller.
The truck was headed westbound about five miles east of Havre on US Highway 2 when it went off the road to the right and rolled over.
Montana Highway Patrol received the call around 11:25 am. They were joined at the scene by Havre Fire Department and Hill County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation is being conducted by Montana Highway Patrol. Fuel was leaking from the truck following the crash before being fixed later in the day.
The victim’s name is being withheld until the family is notified.
