The Missouri River Bar and Grill in Cascade was destroyed by flames on Friday September 4th.
Officials state the fire began just after 4am and was first handled by Cascade Farmer Rancher City Volunteer Fire department. According to fire chief Eric Tilleman, they battled the blaze for about half an hour in an effort to save the structure, before realizing the fire had reached the attic of the building.
Six people were reported to be in the building and made it out safely. Two individuals were examined for smoke inhalation. The owner of the establishment and her family began living in the building in 2021, thereby not only losing her business, but her home as well.
