HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – One man was killed late Monday morning in a single-vehicle wreck a few miles east of Havre. Hill County Sheriff Jamie Ross says that 68-year old Rolin L. Nitschke from Butte was driving a commercial water truck westbound when it went off the right side of the road and rolled over.
The Montana Highway Patrol says that fuel was leaking from the truck following the crash about five miles east of Havre, but the leak was fixed later in the day. The call came in around 11:25 AM on Monday and they were joined at the scene by the Havre Fire Department and the Hill County Sheriff’s Office.
