HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Saturday, the Bullhook Community Health Center will be hosting a Color Run to close out National Health Center Week. CEO Kyndra Hall says registration starts at 9 AM with the race starting at 10. They will have about ten stations throughout the 1-mile and 5K courses throwing colored powder.
“For adults, it’s $20. We do have a few extra t-shirts that we ordered if you didn’t pre-register. So there’s a chance you can get a t-shirt and some other goodies that we’ll give away the morning of the race. Still includes the barbeque afterwards. For kids, from 4 to 12 it’s $15 and then under that, it’s free.”
Hall say the races will start at the Bullhook Community Health Center parking lot.
“The one-mile kind of loops around by Pepin Park and comes back. The 5K goes down 6th Avenue, down towards the High School and around the tennis courts and up through the tree streets and then back around and then loops around Pepin Park. And we’ll have the, Hill County Search and Rescue will be helping guide runners so that they don’t get lost, or if anybody gets hurt, they’re there to help pick them up.”
Hall says that National Health Center Week is meant to promote community health centers across the country. This year’s theme is “Rooted in Our Communities.”
