ROCKY BOY, Mont. (NMB) – The Rocky Boy Tribe reported they were losing water at an alarming rate on Friday morning and were having difficulties locating the break in the water line.
The Chippewa Cree Water Resource Department was out looking for the break and was asking people to check their crawlspaces and basements for water breaks or leaks. They ask that people also check nearby vacant or abandoned houses for breaks.
They warn that if the break is not found soon, they could experience a water shortage. Residents are urged to plan ahead and have alternative water supplies just in case.
