HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) ― A Winter Gala fundraiser for local animal rescue and shelter organizations will be happening Saturday, February 8.
Christie Johnson, 13-year-member of Beta Sigma Phi Women’s Organization, says this fundraiser will help animals in need.
“We wanted to do something that was gonna help raise funds for Rescue Dogs and Friends of the Havre Animal Shelter, and so we decided we would do a dinner and a dance.”
Beta Sigma Phi is an international organization with 30,000 different chapters, two of which are right here in Havre.
“In Havre we have two chapters, ours is called Xi Tau and Rescue Dogs were looking for somebody to help with some fundraising and they asked a couple of different organizations and we were all about it because we are a social group.”
The Winter Gala will be held at the Havre Eagles Club and feature cocktails, a prime rib and shrimp dinner and a dance accompanied by the band The Max of Bozeman.
Tickets are available at the Havre Eagles Club, Baldwin insurance Associates or through any Beta member.
