HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation is hosting a free scholarship workshop at 7 PM on Monday night for seniors at the Havre High School computer lab.
Foundation Executive Director Cheryl Morse says this workshop will help seniors and their parents apply for more than two dozen scholarships, with amounts ranging from $500 to $2,000.
“We have several donors and they’ve donated a great deal of money in 30 different scholarships, so there is wonderful opportunity for students to get money to help them with higher education.”
There will also be two scholarships awarded via the Tillie Patterson Foundation, with the amount of those scholarships likely exceeding $4,000.
The deadline to apply for these scholarships is April 1, and they will be presented to students in May.
Foundation members and school counselors will be available to answer any questions.
