American Red Cross Celebrates Red Cross Month With Blood Drive

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – March is Red Cross Month and this year the American Red Cross is asking you to help save lives by either donating blood, taking a lifesaving class or volunteering locally.

The American Red Cross has celebrated Red Cross Month for over 75 years and supplies about 40% of America’s blood. In 2019 they provided more than 6.5 million blood products for people in need.

In Havre, Montana blood donations are being accepted at the following locations:

St. Jude Parish Center from 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. March 2.

Northern Montana Hospital from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. March 3.

Montana State University Northern from 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. March 4.

Triangle Communications from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. March 5.

In Chinook, donations will be accepted at Wallner Hall from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on March 3.
