ROCKY BOY, Mont. (NMB) – On Saturday, the Chippewa Cree Tribal Business Committee officially declared a state of emergency for the Chippewa Cree Tribe.
In addition, Rocky Boy Public Schools announced that they will be closed through March 27.
The Tribe has announced a 14-day self-quarantine period for all people who have recently traveled out-of-state or to any areas affected by COVID-19. This includes all people who have recently traveled to any basketball tournaments.
An Incident Command center has been established at the Tribal Office chambers to help address the needs of the community during this emergency.
The Tribe stresses that it is important to self-monitor for any symptoms anyone in your household may be experiencing. Please call the Rocky Boy Health Board at 395-4486 if you feel you may have any symptoms related to this virus.
