Northstars Quin Elliot Strong July Led to Next Level Commitment

Havre, MT – Havre Northstar’s 2026 summer season got off to a slow start; but a strong July performance from Quinn Elliott helped turn the season around and earn himself an opportunity.

Quin has committed to play baseball next season for the Bismarck State Mystics. Head coach of Bismarck Jaden Scott told NMB Sports how Quinn’s recruitment came about and what stood out about Havre’s star pitcher.

“It was a little late actually it kind of happened in July over the summer. We had a player of ours live out that way and they crossed paths in summer ball game.”

“Threw some video and threw some conversations he jumped out on the mound, the fastball is pretty special, and he did a lot of great things on the mound this summer.”

Quinn Elliott played 23 out of 25 games during the summer month and posted strong performances both in the regular and post season.

Elliot pitched in 29 innings during July where he gave up less than 10 runs and threw 50 strikeouts.

“Then we started looking at the bat too and that was pretty good. So, he is a well-rounded player and a good athlete and somebody we are pretty excited to get over in Bismarck.”

From the plate in that stretch Elliott saw 80 at bats and connected for 38 hits and 45 RBIs.
