Libertarian Candidate Lyman Bishop Discusses 2020 Race for Governor

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Libertarian candidate Lyman Bishop is in the 2020 race for Governor and spoke with New Media Broadcasters about his campaign’s goals.

Lyman says that he is not in the race to push an agenda but rather is in it to be a public servant that will represent the agenda of the people.

“I represent the needs and wants and desires of the common man, and that’s something we haven’t seen in a long long time and that’s something that we desperately need. It is representation by our peers, not by those who see themselves as high above us or who conduct themselves in ways that are self-serving and neglect the needs of the people, but rather as one of the common people fighting for all of us.”

Lyman says he will utilize his business and mechanical engineering background to solve problems, to bring change to Montana and to restore the people’s constitutional rights.

“The people of Montana, the people of the United States, the people of the world are hungry for freedom. And my message is very much focused on providing a restoration of our constitutional rights as they were intended, in full, without compromise.”

Lyman urges the public to remember that they are the leaders and that he is only in the race to be their voice.
