Hill County WIC Accepting New Clients

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Women, Infants and Children program, administered through the Hill County Health Department, is accepting new clients in Hill and surrounding counties.

The program provides personalized support for income-eligible pregnant women, caregivers and parents with children under five.

WIC is designed to influence lifetime nutrition and health behaviors for participating families.

Those interested in enrolling can call the Hill County WIC office at 400-2421 or apply to get connected to their local clinic, even if it’s outside Hill County.

The main Hill County WIC clinic is located at the Hill County Health Department, 302 4th Avenue in Havre.

It’s open from 8:30 AM to 3 PM on Monday and 8 AM to 5 PM Tuesday through Friday.

The Hill County WIC satellite clinic in Chester is located at 315 W Madison Avenue. It is open from 9 AM to 5 PM on the third Monday of odd months.

The satellite clinic in Chinook is located at 420A Ohio Street. It is open from 9 AM to 5 PM on the fourth Tuesday of even months.

Appointments are available at all clinics, but walk-ins are also welcome.
