WASHINGTON, D.C. (NMB) – U.S. Senators Steve Daines and Jon Tester have announced that more than two dozen Montana Colleges and Universities will receive pandemic funding.
Several schools in our area will receive funding. Montana State University-Northern will receive $911,258, Stone Child College will receive $216,798, Aaniiih Nakoda College will receive $114,359, and Fort Peck Community College will receive $114,359 and Blackfeet Community College will receive $266,062.
At least half of the funds must be provided to students in emergency financial aid grants.
The funding was made available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act that was signed into law last month.
