HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Havre’s 4th of July Festival Committee has made the decision to cancel this year’s festival in Pepin Park.
A press release states that the decision was made in order to, “side with caution and safety.”
Other reasons cited for the cancelation of the event were limited preparation time, uncertain product availability and regulations concerning large crowds.
The annual festival put on by volunteers provides food and entertainment to locals at no cost.
