Veterans Affairs Officers to Meet With Vets in August

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Throughout August, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs Division will be visiting numerous locations in north-central Montana to meet with Veterans interested in applying for benefits.

Those interested in applying are asked to bring a copy of their discharge paperwork, the DD 214’s, with them. Face-masks are also required.

On Wednesday, August 12th, Officers will be at the Glasgow VA Clinic from 1 to 4 PM.

On Thursday, August 13th, Officers will be at Malta City Hall from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.

On Wednesday, August 19th, Officers will be at the Shelby Courthouse from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.

And on Thursday, August 20th, Officers will be in Cut Bank at the Glacier County Court House Extension Office from 10 AM to 12 PM and 1:30 PM to 3 PM.

Browning Veterans can meet in Cut Bank due to COVID-19.

Due to travel restrictions, the VA is unable travel to Rocky Boy and Fort Belknap. If you wish to schedule an appointment at the Havre Office, please call 265-4225.

Veteran Service Officers will visit Nursing Homes & Assisted Living Centers by appointment only.
