GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – The American Red Cross is urging eligible blood and/or plasma donors to give in the coming weeks as they face a shortage due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
There are numerous upcoming blood donation opportunities in north-central Montana.
On August 3rd, you can donate blood or plasma from 11 AM-5:30 PM at First Christian Church in Lewistown.
On August 4th from 9 AM-3:30 PM, donations will be accepted at the Hospice House in Lewistown.
On August 6th, you can donate at the Shelby Civic Center from 12-6 PM.
On August 11th, donations will be accepted at the Methodist Church in Sunburst from 12:30-5:30 PM.
On August 12th, a blood drive will be held from 12-6 PM at The Montana Agricultural Center in Fort Benton.
And on August 13th, a blood drive is scheduled at the Conrad Mission Church from 11 AM-5:30 PM.
Red Cross blood drives have precautions in place that include temperature checks, social distancing and face coverings to ensure that donors feel at ease when giving blood or plasma.
