ROCKY BOY, Mont. (NMB) – A raffle fundraiser for a 2021 Can-Am Defender ATV is currently underway to help raise funds to replace the St. Mary’s Catholic Church on the Rocky Boy’s Reservation that tragically burned down last December.
Reverend Joseph Tran says this fundraiser is critical, since other efforts have had to be canceled due to the pandemic.
“We planned to have a benefit dinner, and then COVID-19 came. So there is no way we can have a benefit dinner when we cannot gather people around. So that idea is gone right now.”
Tickets are $20, and the drawing will be held on June 20th, 2021. Tran says they have 2,000 tickets to sell and are hoping raise a net of up to $30,000.
