HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – With the demand for essential services increased due to the ongoing pandemic, the Salvation Army is continuing to seek donations with their Red Kettle Campaign.
Trina Crawford, Emergency Services Director for the Havre Service Center, says they are hoping to raise $38,000 through the campaign, with funding going towards their operations.
“Basically that will be just be divided by 12 for the year, and that’s what our budget (each month) is to help people. So if we can raise that $38,000, it’s definitely going to be helpful. That’s what our goal is and it’s very important that we have a good outcome.”
As of last Thursday, Crawford says they were four percent of the way towards their goal. Crawford says there are several ways to donate this year.
“You can go to HavreRedKettle.org, you can go in, that’s our site and you can virtually donate that way…You can give at the red kettles, and the red kettles are at IGA, North 40 and Wal-Mart.”
