HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – For the first time in more than a year, Havre Public Schools adult community education classes are making a comeback.
Community Education Coordinator Tiffany Olsen says there are well over a dozen classes available for people, including a few new options.
“A new one this year is google applications. This is talking about all of the google applications: classroom, drive, docs, slides, shapes. It’s a really good one right now, especially for any parents out there that are struggling with the platforms the schools use, which is google applications.”
One class that will be making its debut after being unable to take place last spring is called ‘Succulent Planter.’
“Where you go down to Downtown Gardens and they’ll help you put a succulent planter together. They are also doing the ‘Outdoor Planter’ course as well.”
Some of the other available courses include beginning and advanced guitar, 1st Time Home Buyers, and fitness courses such as aqua exercise and pilates.
Registration begins on March 15th, with classes beginning on the 22nd. Classes that don’t have five participants signed up before the start of the course will be canceled, and class fees range from $2 to around $40.
