HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A Havre man is facing multiple charges in Hill County District Court after allegedly waving a gun at a delivery driver.
Gabriel Evan Jordan has been charged with felony criminal endangerment and misdemeanor resisting arrest.
According to court documents, on March 6th, Jordan pointed and waved a gun at a Pizza Hut delivery driver.
Officers interviewed the driver, who told them that they were invited inside by Jordan when delivering pizza. Jordan began waving a black and white pistol while standing within a few feet of the driver, and at one point aimed it directly in the driver’s face. Another person inside the household de-escalated the situation. The driver recognized Jordan as a former employee of Pizza Hut.
Officers investigated the incident and found a black and silver Smith and Wesson in a bedroom dresser. The firearm did not have a round in the chamber, but the magazine contained 14 bullets.
At that point, Jordan was placed under arrest. Officers report that Jordan appeared intoxicated, shouted expletives at the Officers, and had to be physically restrained. Once in the back seat of the patrol vehicle, court documents allege that Jordan repeatedly smashed his head off the plexiglass cage.
Jordan has denied the allegations in conversations with Police.
Jordan remains in the Hill County Detention Center on $15,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for March 29th.
